Locally-Sourced Ingredients
We source the majority of our products’ ingredients – such as olive oil and purees of seasonal fruit – from local farmers. Supporting family farms and small businesses helps keep money circulating at home, which contributes to building a healthy local economy. By doing so, we also avoid causing unnecessary strain on the environment by reducing the amount of fossil fuels required for transportation.
The Refill Station
Each year, about 270 million plastic pump bottles and dispensers of liquid soap get dumped into the trash. At Soap Cafe, we are committed to using as little packaging as possible, which is why customers can bring their own bottles to fill them with our shampoos, conditioners and lotions.
Chemical-Free Products & Cosmetics
Most commercial, store-bought soaps are just chemical cocktails made of detergents and synthetic ingredients which not only dehydrate the skin, but end up being washed down the drain and polluting the sea. Our natural handmade soaps and sustainable cosmetics, on the other hand, are made from nothing but pure, non-toxic, environmentally-friendly ingredients. What’s more, everything we make looks and smells so delicious, you’ll want to eat them – which is just as well, because they’re virtually edible!
Cruelty-Free Products
All the ingredients we use in our products and sustainable cosmetics are natural; over 90% of them are vegan and none of them are tested on animals.
