Description

100% Natural Castile/ Castille Soap in solid form. Fragrance-free, cold-processed Castile soap base. Freshly made on order!

This base is also excellent for making facial bars and can be used for very sensitive skin and on babies.

Instructions: Shred finely and melt in a double boiler or bain-marie with some distilled water. As an optional choice, you can add your favorite essential oils, fragrances, petals, shea or cocoa butter or even colors to personalize it for your needs. Keep oils and carrier oils to a maximum of 3% in total; otherwise, your bar will become too soft. After mixing, pour everything into a mold and let it set for 24 hours. Unmold and leave to dry for at least a week or until the bar hardens.

Please note, this is not MELT & POUR soap. It is slightly more difficult to mold than melt & pour bases, but the results are worthwhile. Check out our melt & pour bases for easy DIY soap.
